Spirituality
I believe a core aspect of a person finding happiness, is identifying personal values and purposefully integrating those into a person’s life. Often the greatest distress for individuals occurs when their core values are in conflict with each other. Sometimes in those moments, outside help is needed to discover how to balance our personal beliefs. Sometimes we know what our beliefs are, but we just need help in learning how to live by those beliefs better.
One guiding principle of mine is, “To help my clients follow their truths.” When we can identify our beliefs and find ways to live by them, we are able to engage in a journey of self-discovery that often leads to a much deeper level of satisfaction and meaning in our lives.
I also have an understanding of the beliefs and experiences of those who belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am comfortable and have experience working with those who wish to incorporate religious beliefs in sessions, as well as with those who are re-evaluating what faith means to them.
